Oklahoma City-based Coolgreens has hired Kathy Davidson as VP of Franchise Development, where she’s tasked with expanding the seven-unit brand to 50 within four years. That mission is right up her alley as she not only has experience growing large and medium-sized brands, including Church’s Chicken and Fazoli’s, but she helped take Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken from a few corporate stores to several franchised locations across the nation.
“Kathy has great experience with startup brands, and we were very excited to bring her on board as we continue to build a strong foundation for our franchisee’s,” Coolgreens CEO Robert Lee said in an interview with FastCasual. “From the day we first met Kathy, it was clear she shared the same ideology we have at Coolgreens. “The food you put into your body has a direct relationship with how you feel, how you look, and the way you live. Kathy is active in her community, lives an active lifestyle, and is a foodie just like us. She is able to intelligently speak about healthy eating habits, and even taught us a thing or two during our initial interview.”
Davidson is confident that she can help Coolgreens spread its wings.
“I’ve had experience making very sensitive decisions that must be made in start-up mode and can affect the brand’s long-term health,” she said in an interview with FastCasual. “Coolgreen’s exciting mission for healthy eating and living is a very personal one for me. My goal is to spread this mission across the U.S. — eating healthy can also taste good
